Cool by the winds of the south, dark by the crops of harvest, the coastal town of Kollam in God's Own Country, rests in the calmness of the placid backwaters. located in a beautiful suburb of this historic Coastal town is the Thangal Kunju Musliar College of Engineering, with an enviable reputation of being one of the premier technical institutions in the country. The extraordinary vision of the late Janab A. Thangal Kunju Musliar was crystallized in the form and substance as T.K.M College of Engineering in 1956 with the foundation stone bring laid by the first President of independent India, Dr. Rajendra Prasad. Our college was the first to take initiative to offer Computer Science & Engg, as a course in Kerala and over the past 20 years, the Department of Computer Science & Engineering has been instrumental in churning out computer engineers of vigor and vitality. The Computer Science & Engg. Department hosts the national level IT Fest ITz 2006 to showcase the technical knowledge and skills of students.
